Neoclassical Figural 4 Light Table Lamp

Elaborate vintage figural table lamp designed in a richly ornamented Neoclassical manner, centered by a seated classical female figure holding an open book and posed beside a tall fluted column entwined with floral garlands. Finished in warm antique gold and ivory tones, the sculptural base is detailed with deeply modeled drapery, acanthus leaves, floral ornament and a raised fruit-and-foliage motif along the circular plinth. An ornate foliate standard rises above the figure and branches into five lights, each fitted with a white frosted glass shade molded with a textured hobnail-like body and dramatically ruffled rim. A circular impressed maker’s mark with fleur-de-lis device is present on the figure. The lamp is working. Condition shows age and use with scattered scuffs, scratches, finish wear and small fleabites throughout; one frosted glass shade has a significant chip/broken section along the ruffled rim as pictured. Measures 29" H x 16" W x 13" D.
