Neoclassical Gilt Metal & Marble Inkwell

This neoclassical style double inkwell set features a pink marble or onyx base set in a beaded gilt metal frame. Two white porcelain ink pots with decorative lids (note: one finial is detached but the piece is included) sit in front of two cast metal dolphin-shaped pen rests. The piece is elevated on four decorative bun feet, combining functional desk use with an elegant aesthetic.

Condition is fair. The gilt finial on one porcelain lid has broken off; the detached piece is retained and included for reattachment/repair. The set also exhibits expected age-appropriate wear, including surface wear to the gilt metal, light staining to the marble base, and rubbing to the gold trim on the porcelain.
