Top left: the coat of arms of Brabant; top right: coat of arms of 's-Hertogenbosch. On either side of the map is a column standing on a foundation with scales with a putto at the top. In the columns are the blank coats of arms of Helmond and Eindhoven (left) and of Megen, Ravenstein and Grave (right) . In the coat of arms of 's-Hertogenbosch you can see the text Insignia Civitatum sub ditione Coats of arms have not yet been filled in, which appeared on the map from 1642 onwards. Published in; "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, sive Atlas Novus; in quo Tabulae et Descriptiones omnium Regionum. The dimensions of the image are 41 x 52 cm, the entire page is 46 x 56. 5 cm. Verso: French. Is in excellent condition. Small stain on the centrefold - see last photo. Centrefold is loose in the bottom margin, just below the image. Some spots in the margin.
