Netsuke (1) - Elephant ivory - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)

This item CANNOT be sold outside the EU. Refined and rare netsuke depicting a warrior fighting with a giant eagle, about to kill it with his sword Signed. In very good condition overall, with minimal wear and veining consistent with its age. Japanese object from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
