Netsuke - Elephant ivory - Japan - 18th - 19th century

Antique netsue depicting a sennin with pumpkin on his shoulders. in good overall condition with beautiful natural patina, shows natural wear and veining compatible with the period and restoration to the legs which are glued together A Japanese item from the Edo period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
