Netsuke, signed Masanobu - Ivory - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)

Nice netsuke depicting a man kneeling, probably a mouse catcher looking for a mouse to catch with a box, and right on his shoulders an animal that appears to be a weasel or a ferret. Signed Masanobu under the base. Japanese artefact from the Meiji period. The Item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
