A New England Federal Cherry Pembroke Table, Late 18th / Early 19th Century. The shaped drop-leaf top with generous overhang to either end, fitted with a single full depth frieze drawer, raised on tapered square legs, joined by a pierced shaped cross-stretcher.
Dimensions: Height 27 3/4in; width 20 1/4in; depth 36in; width open 36 1/4in.
Condition Report: Structurally sound. In an overall refinished/restored condition. The top has been reset and with full depth patched in repair with strip of cherry to correct shrinkage to the top. Age cracks to the drop leaves. Each side with small breaks and repairs to the rule joints where leaves meet top.
