An antique historical medal created in the 1896 by an American jeweler J.E. Caldwell for one of the members of the New England Society of Mayflower descendants William W. Gase who related to Elder William Brewster, one of 22 male passengers of the historic Mayflower ship.
The medal is made of 14 karat (tested) yellow gold and enamel.
The medal measures 1-1/4 x 1 inches, length with the ribbon is 3 inches.
The piece weighs 13.0 grams.
Stamped with J.E. Caldwell maker's mark.
Comes in an original J.E. Caldwell box.
