Margins browned with top one flaking but not affecting plate. Professionally matted so that printed area shows good displayable condition with original outline hand color. Decorative dedication cartouche of royal arms of William Duke of Gloucester at bottom and allegorical scenes of sailing ships and the Sheldonian theatre at Oxford. On western hemisphere map there is a note claiming North America may have been the ancient's Atlantis! Shows California as an island. Ex-collection: Stoke on Trent City Libraries.
