Interior of shako exhibits makers label from "JOHN A BAKER, MILITARY GOODS, 63 WALKER STREET NEW YORK". Shako exhibits pom pom of blue and white. Shako exhibits wear, stripping of pom pom holder and push with break on shako crown. The Albany Burgess Corps was formed in Albany, NY in 1833.The Corps served as Co. R of the 25th New York Infantry, a 3 month state militia regiment which served from May 31, 1862 to September 8, 1862. Provenance: Eugene T.
