Second edition, one of 750 copies printed, published after the first edition (two variants) of 1687, with folding engraving; gift inscription of a Thomas, Archbishop of Canterbury on ffep, which could either be Thomas Herring (1693-1757) or Thomas Secker (1693-1768), ownership stamp of C. Turner, Christ Church, Oxford below; in contemporary blind-ruled boards (neatly rebacked and recornered), some spotting to endleaves, 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 in.
