Ngbaka Mask, Democratic Republic of the Congo, hollowed out, oval form, pierced at the upper rim for attachment, the open mouth with teeth bared beneath the straight nose with an incised medial ridge leading to the forehead and bisecting the square-cut eyes, with raised ears, and grooved-cut lines on the crown, kaolin pigments on the face, with metal stand, (rim loss), ht. 10 in.
