Circa 1877
Impressed uppercase mark, pattern no. M3054
Each molded with seashells and seaweed on a basketweave ground, within a brown rope twist rim. Diameter 8 7/8 inches.

Condition Report: each appears to be in generally good condition, with the following noteworthy exceptions: one plate has a central hairline (approx. 2 in.), which is only visible on the underside; another plate has a rim chip to the underside; there is some variation to the coloration of each plate, including the outer gray colored rims; many plates have scattered spot staining under the glaze (top and underside); there is a Christie's lot sticker label affixed to the back side of one plate that is dated "April 2, 1985, lot 107/11" (the present lot was likely originally purchased together with the following current lot, namely, lot 1008, and one of the original eleven items is now missing); not blacklighted
