Danish Margriet (Daisy) large brooch from the 1940s-1968s, the design is by the designer Anton Michelsen. A beautiful silver and 18k gold plated brooch is made of Sterling silver 925s. This brooch with white enameled flower petals is also called Daisy.

Marked: AM (Anton Michelsen) in triangle / 925s Sterling Denmark silver with 18kg gold plated. The pin closure is in good working condition.

This object is in beautifully preserved pre-owned condition without any damage. The enamel is in mint condition and completely intact. It will be shipped registered and insured, including the original packaging, with track and trace code.

Anton Michelsen founded his company in 1841 and soon received orders from the Danish royal family, making him one of the most important Danish jewelery houses. In 1940, the Anton Michelsen company designed its first piece of jewelry with daisies to celebrate the birth of Princess Margrethe (now Queen Margrethe) .
In 1968, after four generations, the company was taken over by Georg Jensen. Georg Jensen still designs and makes jewelry with daisies.
