The antique Art Deco necklace is made of foam gold, gold doublé in 8 carat gold plating and hallmarked with "American". The necklace also bears the workshop mark of Andreas Daub, Pforzheim around 1900 -
The necklace is made of 17 individual links, which are movably connected to each other via ribbon eyelets.
The links in the middle of the chain are made of flowers in relief, which are structured over oval faceted, synthetic Verneuil rubies in staggered sizes. This is followed by openwork flower links. The necklace is closed and opened with a spring ring clasp.
The Verneuil rubies are held firmly by fine Millegriffes frames.

Very nice. Antique goldsmith's work around 1900 in very good, worn and well-maintained condition. A historical piece of jewelry from the time.
