Veilchenholz auf Eiche; Bronze, ziseliert. Auf vier Löwentatzenfüßen stehender bombierter Korpus mit Espagnoletten an den Knien. Fünfschübiger Korpus mit zentralem Unterschub und zwei durchlaufenden Schüben, jeweils mit Bügelhandhaben mit bewegten Zügen und zentralen Maskarons mit Schlüsselschild. Ein Schlüssel vorhanden. Wangen seitlich mit gegossenen und ziselierten Bronzemaskarons. Überkragende Deckplatte in symmetrischer Marketerie mit umlaufendem Bronzeprofil.

Anmerkung II:
Ein Bureau plat, was in seinen Bronzeelementen ähnlich mit dem Vorliegenden zu vergleichen ist, wird im Bayerischen Nationalmuseum verwahrt. Ein weiteres Bureau plat befand sich in der Galerie Avelin (abgebildet in Alexandre Pradère, Les Ebénistes Français de Louis XIV à la Révolution, Paris 1989, Tafel 111, Abb. 67 und S. 113, Abb. 71).
