Condition Report:
The board is sound. There are some raised pinheads at the extreme edges where the board has been secured to the support, this is in keeping with the artist's working methods and intentions, and these are stable. There are some tiny nicks and flecks of loss at the upper edge, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There are a couple of tiny instances of reticulation in the paint surface in the central passage, again only visible upon extremely close inspection. There is some minor surface dirt. The work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Uninspected under ultra violet light. The work is held in a simple, painted wooden frame.
