Pencil-signed and titled in the bottom margin, and presented behind glass in a maple frame that measures 16" x 20 1/2". Norma Bassett Hall was a founding member of the Prairie Printmakers, and the only woman to be a part of that group. She found great success with her 1947 "Navajo Land" woodcut-- a depiction of a pair of Navajo riders crossing the high plains of northwest New Mexico with Ship Rock in the distance-- and it remains one of her most popular prints today.
