Norton - 16H - 500 cc - 1939

Norton 16H 500 cc – 1939. In perfect working condition and finely restored as original. Complete with all its parts. Original Italian vintage documents. Ready for the transfer of ownership. Together with the documents, there are some ACI invoices and certificates of the time. First registered in 1948, but the bike is from the late 1930s. This model was produced by Norton to supply the British Army during WWII. Once the war was over, the British motorbike manufacturer withdrew all its models used at the front and, together with those produced but not used by the army, converted them for civilian use and sold them to countries across the Channel in post-war Europe. On the certificate of ownership, it is written by the ACI office that this is a ‘Prima immatricolazione di un veicolo usato’ (First registration of a used vehicle) testifying to the above. It was recently restored and brought back to condition as if it had just left the factory, in perfect working order.
