'Nuee Ardente' translates to burning cloud and is a term used for pyroclastic flows that glow red. This unique abstract evokes this sense of volcanic heat, which radiates with such intensity the shimmering metallic golds glow on the canvas surface. Mesmerizing forms appear and merge from one to another. With paintings in private collections across the UK, Europe and the USA, Felicity Osborne was trained in Fine Art and now creates vivid, dynamic contemporary abstract works on canvas, made in her Worcester studio.
