Ref. no. : 2603 - 9 Extremely large Omega. . . . so-called JUMBO model. Diameter of the solid steel case is 37. 5 mm. Spectacular lugs. . . which run down sleekly and at an angle. Lovely dial in silky silver with overlaid markers and rose gold hands. Possibly an earlier professional refinish. Small second hand in lowered part. The checked Omega hand-wound movement with calibre 267 has 15 jewels and keeps fairly good time. . . the average deviation on the digital testing device is approx. 20 seconds in 24 hours. (Snapshot) . It is numbered 16. . . . which dates this watch back to 1958. Steel convex click bottom ("bubble-back") , marked Omega and numbered. The crystal is still like new and was recently replaced. Fitted with an unworn brown calfskin strap. . . a bit dry on the inside ---> cracks Suitable for wrists of up to 20 cm. IN SHORT: a remarkably large Omega which is over 60 years old, with a lovely dial and spectacularly shaped lugs.
