OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE PHOTOGRAPH OF FIRST LADY HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON WITH EXECUTIVE CHEF PIERRE
An exceptional and historically significant Official White House photograph capturing First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in conversation with Executive Chef Pierre Chambrin, offered directly from the personal estate of the celebrated White House chef who served during the Clinton Administration. Far more than a commemorative image, this is an authentic behind-the-scenes glimpse into the daily operations of the Executive Mansion. The reverse of the photograph bears the original "OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE PHOTO 09SEP93" stamp, dating the image to September 9, 1993, during Pierre Chambrin's tenure as Executive Chef only months after President Bill Clinton entered the White House. Equally important is the extraordinary provenance. This photograph was personally framed by Pierre Chambrin and displayed for many years along the downstairs staircase of his private residence. Of the countless photographs produced during White House administrations, very few remained in the personal collection of the Executive Chef himself and were displayed in his home as cherished reminders of his historic service. It is accompanied by Chambrin’s White House business card, which is a subtle but powerful anchor confirming authentic working provenance. Objects like this were never meant to circulate. This Official White House photo is from the estate of Pierre Chambrin, the former Executive Chef at The White House. It is representative of French culinary excellence at the highest institutional level. It is being auctioned off by one of the owners of The Rug Life, Sabrina Chambrin Jureidini, the only Daughter of Pierre Chambrin. This official White House photo comes with a COA signed by Sabrina, and one of Pierre’s original White House business cards.
