CONDITION REPORT:
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case is in good condition with light scratches throughout. The case appears to have been polished. The back of the lugs show signs of wear with scratches. The Seahorse engraving is faint to the case back. The case back has light scratches and shows evidence of being opened. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The crystal has scratches and is cracked vertically from 2 to 4 o'clock and also 9 to 8 o'clock. The dial and hands show signs of age and appear to be original. The dial has some small scratches and yellowing of the outer tachymetre ring. The luminous plots at the hour markers have darkened with age and have partially deteriorated. The luminous material in the hour and minute hand has darkened and has spread out to the white area of those hands. The hour markers have developed a light patina. The chronograph and quick-set date function are working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
