ORIGINAL LOCOMOTIVE BELL FROM CENTRAL VERMONT RAILROAD
Unmarked Bronze Bell on a Painted Iron circular plate mount marked '12622', with a red-painted interior, consisting of the cradle, which attached to the locomotive body, the yoke, which fit into the cradle and attached to and swung with the bell, the clapper, which was the metal piece that struck the bell on the inside causing the ring, and the "pull-arm", which was a lever to which a pull rope was attached. The bell is 15" diam., 12" tall, 18" diam. cradle mount, 21" wide yoke with pull arm 10" of center line.
