ORNATE FIREMAN'S PARADE TRUMPET.
A lightly-tarnished silver plated pewter trumpet with 9 - 1/4" diameter opening flange. Ornate script engravings read "To the Tivoli Hose Co. No. 39", with other engraved named attributions that are difficult to read, including a date, "Oct 3rd 1866". Includes an old original braided and tasseled carrying cord. Some embossing has copper overlay. The flange opening has some shallow dents and is slightly bent. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 22" x 9 - 1/4" x 9 - 1/4".
