SKELETONIZED KEY-WINDING POCKET WATCH, SIGNED LÉPINE, 1780 CIRCA
Two body gilded metal case, edges engraved with linear motifs, bezels set with paste stones, glass back with visibile movement.
White enamel dial, signed “Lépine a Paris”, Roman hour numeral and Arabic 5-min markers, front wind up. Louis XVI hands garnished with paste stones.
Skeletonized fusee movement, silvered and floral decoration adorned with paste stone which let at sight the verge escapement and the three-armed annular balance.
