FRENCH KEY-WINDING POCKET WATCH, SIGNED ROMILLY, 1790 CIRCA
Two body gold case entirely chiseled with ornamental motifs, on the back bicolor relief representation with a female figure and Putto in front of an altar.
White enamel dial, signed “Romilly”, Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute markers, front wind up. Gilt Breguet hands.
Fusee movement signed “Romilly a Paris 9194”, verge escapement, pierced and engraved cock, cylindrical pillars.
