ENGLISH ENAMELED POCKET WATCH FOR CHINESE MARKET, 1860 CIRCA
Silver case, bezel sets with pearls, back engraved, blue translucent guilloché enamel with polychrome enamel depicting a female portrait, inner hinged bezel decorated with chiselling and glass to cover the movement. Worked pendant and “horseshoe” style pendant.
White enamel dial, Roman hour numerals and Arabic quarter markers. Blued pear hands, centered seconds.
Anonymous movement and decorated with engravings, going barrel, cylinder escapement, annular balance.
