Four body “bassine” and polished 18K gold case, dome engraved with award and inscription “Half Chronometer National Watch Co Chaux de Fonds”. Shaped pendant and oval bow.
White enamel dial, signed “National Watch C° Chaux de Fonds”, Arabic hour numerals, minute division, outer 0-300 chronograph scale, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Gilt Louis XV style hands.
Anonymous key-less movement, gilded, lever escapement, cut compensated bimetallic balance with screws, Breguet hairspring, at sight chronograph leverage with column wheel. Quarter repeater on gong by pressing push-piece, centrifugal governor.
