Circa 1930

The silvered bronze humidor casket with inset finial atop the hinged lid over a rectangular case raised on four turned feet. The top and sides divided into square frames centering stylized signs of the zodiac in Art Deco taste with Oscar Block stamped on the underside of the base.

Measures 4 x 10.75 x 6 inches.

Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.
In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
