Condition Report:
It has not been possible to examine the work out of its frame. The canvas is not lined. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. However examination under UV light appears to reveal spots of retouching, most predominately above the dog and along the extreme edges. There are lines of stable craquelure in places, most predominately to the white pigment. There are a few scattered flyspots. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
