DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co., Detroit. An outstanding example of this Porcelain Sign from GMC Trucks advertising "Sales & Service" in outstanding script with unique GMC coloring. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding showing excellent color & gloss throughout the chip free field showing only a couple of very minimal blemishes with some fine scratches. Side one shows some very minor rain water oxidation near the top two mounting holes but is not very noticeable unless in direct light. Side one shows an excellent condition outer edge with just a couple of light nicks, Grade 9.0+. Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the chip free field with just a few areas of minor surface wear in the inner field. Side two shows some light discoloration at the "A" of Sales as well as some very faint rain water discoloration at the top outer field. Side two shows some minimal mounting hole wear with a very clean outer edge, Grade 9.0. A brilliant example overall of this highly sought after sign from GMC Trucks.
