It has extensive engraving on the receiver, trigger guard and the receiver end of the barrel. The gold medallion on the side of the receiver reads: "Model 870 All American Trap Gun". The wood is OUTSTANDING , crotch grain, with lots of color. The grip cap is missing the shield. The metal retains virtually all of the factory blue and the wood is near mint with few light impressions. Bore is perfect. Just a hint of wear at slide tube area. One of the best shotguns ever made and this is the finest available 870 Trap gun you will ever find. Near mint overall. *
