EXCEPTIONAL RUSSIAN SILVER & ENAMEL BEAKER OVCHINNIKOV 1908. Comprising an exceptional Russian gilded silver, plique-à-jour, and cloisonné enamel toasting cup, of tapering cylindrical form on a flared foot, the body made up of arched panels of multi-color stylized foliate motifs beneath a band of circular roundels, the rim and foot with shaded cloisonné floral bands, the base with a plique-à-jour panel with a brightly-colored flower head. Hallmarked Moscow 1908-1917, Cyrillic maker's mark PO for Pavel Ovchinnikov, and 84 silver standard. Height: 5 inches (12.7 cm).
