This wall-mounted telephone features a dark-finished oak cabinet constructed with finger-jointed (box-joint) corners. The front panel includes a fixed black composition mouthpiece transmitter and a central push-button. Stamped black lettering around the button reads PUSH TO TALK and RELEASE TO LISTEN. Below the transmitter, faint and partially legible lettering appears to spell WESTERN ELECTRIC. The left side of the cabinet is fitted with a black metal hook switch, and the right side features a rotating magneto hand crank with a black handle. Connected to the cabinet by a brown fabric-covered cord is a single black headphone receiver mounted on a dual-wire headband. Accompanying the telephone is a separate, rectangular black-painted metal box featuring two circular holes on the front face. The telephone cabinet is designed for wall mounting with four pre-drilled holes at the corners of the backboard.
