Of WWI German Imperial Navy U-29 interest. Three first hand manuscript accounts of the sinking of U-29 by HMS 'Dreadnought' on the 18th March,1915, all three with illustrations, together with a collection of sketches by the same hand, a group of eighty-six black and white photographs aboard ship, including one of the bow of a damaged ship and other of a sinking ship inscribed in pencil to verso 'Blucher', also an Imperial German Navy U-Boat cap tally, a collection of various cloth badges and salvaged metal sections, and a later British Special Constabulary LSGC to ' Henry R James 'Lt Com'. *Notes- U-29 was famously sunk after being rammed by HMS 'Dreadnought' resulting in the loss of 33 crew including her Captain Otto Weddigen. It remains the only documented account of the sinking of a submarine by a battleship deliberately ramming the target.
