Antique oil or kerosene banquet lamp - cast metal with slag glass. American, likely Connecticut. Includes hand painted Handel Lamp Company shade. Produced by Handel Lamp Company of Meriden, CT. Shade signed "Handel No 9892". Decoration includes flowers with gilt details. Lamp includes brass oil lamp with glass chimney and cast metal and slag glass base. All glass panels are in good condition, shade has no cracks, minor wear. Some patina on metal portions of lamp. Soot in base. 23" tall by 8" wide. Keywords: art glass, fancy, decor, decoration
