Born on August 27, 1926 in the village. Likhovka, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art School under M. Panin, N. Pogrebnyak (1946 - 1951). He began exhibiting his works at art exhibitions in 1949.
Member of the Union of Artists since 1964. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Works are in museums in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kamenets-Podolsk and a number of private collections.
Lived and worked in Dneprodzerzhinsk.
