About the artist: Honored Artist of the USSR. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Laureate of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR named after T.G. Shevchenko. The brightest representative of Soviet impressionism. He studied at the Moscow Polytechnic University. M.I. Kalinin. (1935-1941) and MGHI them. IN AND. Surikov (1943-1950) by A.V. Lentulova, I.I. Chekmazova. He completed the thesis "Razin" under the direction of G.G. Ryazhsky. Since 1950, he taught at the Simferopol Art College. M.S. Samokish. A participant in exhibitions since 1953. Zakharov's personal exhibitions were held in 1959 (Leningrad, Simferopol), 1960 (Kiev), 1965 (Moscow). The main genre of creativity is landscape. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in the Simferopol Art Museum, the Alupka Palace Museum, in the Novokuznetsk Museum of Soviet Fine Art.
