About the artists: Born on September 11 (12, 25?) 1908 in Kamen-on-Ob (now Altai Territory). He graduated from the Omsk Art and Pedagogical College (1932), the Odessa Art College (1937), the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (1946). Specialty teachers: Y. Bershadsky, A. Shovkunenko, L. Muchnik, V. Oreshnikov, Y. Neprintseva, A. Segal, M. Bobyshev. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of KIRS. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1946). He worked as a teacher of special disciplines of painting, department of the Odessa Art College (1946-1975). Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1947, foreign since 1965. Main works: "The sailor - the heroes of the defense of Odessa" (1949), a portrait of the Hero of Socialist Labor M. Posmitny (1960); group portrait of collective farmers of the artel named after the XXI Congress of the CPSU, Heroes of Socialist Labor (1960); “The link of the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR N. Longova” (1965); portrait of twice Hero of Socialist Labor P. Veduta (1967) and others. The works are stored in the Odessa Art Museum, funds of the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Ukraine. He died on May 02, 1995 in Kamen-on-Obi (now the Altai Territory, Russian Federation).
