Okimono (1) - Elephant ivory - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)

This item CANNOT be sold outside the EU. Refined and complex okimono depicting takarabune boat with the seven gods of abundance, servants and fishermen. Signed Masatoshi under the base. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and natural veining consistent with its age. Japanese object from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory. The item comes with a certificate of authenticity which will be sent to the buyer. Very important note for bidders outside the EU.
