Fudo-Myo in painted and lacquered polychrome wood, horn and golden eyes covered in glass. Fudo Myo-o, god of fire and wisdom, is the most popular of the Myo-o "great kings". He is the fifth guardian of the heavens and protector of astrologers, he is invoked when difficult undertakings are undertaken. Fudo transforms anger into salvation, has a truly furious attitude, with his terrifying gaze he tries to scare people into accepting the teachings of Buddha Dainichi Nyorai (the Supreme Buddha the Cosmic Buddha) . Fudo represents the wisdom that cuts, fights the three poisons due to ignorance, envy, sloth. In his right hand he holds the "kurikara" the sword that subjugates the devil, symbol of the victory of knowledge over error, as the sword cuts the knot of the most insoluble problems, thus allowing intelligence to penetrate into the depths of doctrinal understanding. Excellent condition - some wear - see photos. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped within 1 or at most 2 business days from the day of payment. The shipping price includes delivery via UPS, TNT, DHL or SDA courier (depending on destination address) with full insurance and professional packaging. Original certificate compiled by Luca Mastromauro, an expert in Japanese art, registered with Milan Chamber of Commerce (no. 2617) , which will be shipped with the lot.
