Exceptional okimono sculpted from a single block of ivory, depicting a father with two children playing with some typical toys. Very high quality item. In excellent condition overall, with a beautiful natural patina. Minimal wear and tear and veining consistent with age. Signed on the underside. Weight: 960 g. Japanese object from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
