Very fine okimono depicting a florist with a long bunch of chrysanthemums in his hand. Object with high quality manufacture, finished with great attention to detail, with the typical sculptural technique of the Tokyo school. The creation of the cascade of flowers intertwined with the hands is incredible. It is in excellent overall condition with minimal veining and wear consistent with its age. Japanese object from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
