Large one-piece ivory okimono rich in polychrome mother-of-pearl coral and horn inlays depicting a Buddhist monk showing a Stupa, held up with his right hand, with the Buddha inside. In his other hand he holds the scroll with the Sutras. Entirely covered with rich marquetry, it is located near a waterway just above the rock from which a Ryu dragon emerges, representing balance, freedom and good fortune. He is also known to have supernatural powers and wisdom. Signature engraved Gyokuzan. Weight: 1,200 g. In excellent condition. The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped within 1 or at most 2 business days from the day of payment.
