Okimono in elephant ivory depicting a woodcutter returning with a basket full of branches, next to him a child with a basket full of persimmons tries to attract his attention. Extraordinary piece made entirely from the same block, base, characters and ax included, only the external part of the wooden bundles is interlocking. Signature engraved on red lacquer, next to a number from an old collection. 185 g Very good condition The lot will be carefully packed and shipped within 1 or maximum 2 working days from the day of payment.
