Intricate okimono depicting 2 mice trying to open a giant shell Eyes made of horn. Object of great executive complexity and excellent anatomical finish. In very good overall condition, with natural veining consistent with its age. A Japanese item from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
