Old Chinese Silver Belt with the image of Qilin in high relief on buckle with floral ends and belt composed of finely linked floral motif beads. The belt has a hidden interlocking buckle and ends. The Qilin is a harbinger of the arrival or departure of an illustrious figure and therefore of great significance in Asian mythology. Provenance: Private South Carolina Collection.
