Available here for your consideration is a pair of old single mounted California style spurs. With ten point rowels and chap guards, these spurs are interestingly decorated with incised and inlaid silver along the heel bands and simple silver inlays along the shanks.
The history of bits and spurs in North America begins with the Spanish who first came to the new world in the 1500s, bringing horses and livestock with them.
