Olivier Vitry - Claisse Architectures - Bench, Coffee table, Pouf, Side table, Stool - Table x Tabouret

TABLE x STOOL is a hybrid object between a side table and a stool. This object is composed of a base in curved aluminum sheet in which a U-shaped element is inserted that can be easily turned over to transform it as desired into a coffee table or a stool. Video presenting the system: https: //vimeo. com/743188150 This piece of furniture is drawn on the silhouette of an hourglass. This allows you to assemble several objects to create a coffee table, a large seat or a mix of both. Due to its multifunction, this object can be easily integrated into both private and professional spaces. The finish of the aluminum sheets is anodized in a natural silver color for a fresh and industrial atmosphere in contrast with the comfortable and warm orange velvet of the seat. This object was presented at the Salone Satellite of the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2022 and has been the subject of numerous publications in the press.
